Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has dragged DP William Ruto in his arrest in connection to the on-going investigations on the brutal Matungu Killings in Kakamega County.

Senator Malala was yesterday arrested at Sovereign Hotel in Kisumu while in the process of planning the Youth League forum which was supposed to be held over the weekend by officers who reportedly arrived in two vehicles.

In the Video, Hon Malala blames DP Ruto on his arrest stating that the intelligence is divided. CS Malala also stated that his arrest is tied to playing tribal card while the people are dying..

Hon Malala claims that they were briefed a day before his card and boldly states that he cannot join Jubilee. In a more aggressive tone Malala has stated that he cannot join thieves.

Senator Malala has also cried foul of the state sending the same officers with familiar faces to arrest him five times a year.
But later Hon Malala accepted to be arrested although he termed the arrest as a form of intimidation from DP Ruto’s camp.

Mr Echesa presented himself at the Western Regional Police Headquarters shortly before 6pm.Libinus Oduor (Mayoni MCA), who had been summoned to record a statement on the issue, also presented himself to police.
