REVEALED:Miguna savagely Names Killers, Murderers And Assassins Of Prominent Kenyans
Controversial self-proclaimed General Miguna Miguna has sensationally outlined list of ‘alleged’ killers, murderers and assassins of prominent Kenyans
To be clear, in the naming, Miguna didn’t use or say the words alleged.
The daily nation had carried a feature article on unresolved murders in Kenya. Miguna says it is resolved and he knows the killers.
Here is the list Miguna wrote on his facebook account.
1.Chris Msando – murderer Uhuru Kenyatta.
Mr Christopher Msando, the slain Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission ICT manager, was strangled to death days before the disputed August 8 2017 elections.
Chief government pathologist Johansen Oduor said: “He died from strangulation and he also had incisions on his right arm, but the rest of the body was intact.”
The ICT boss went missing on a Friday evening and his body was found together with that of 21-year-old Carol Ngumbu at Muguga Forest in Kikuyu on Saturday.
2. Careen Chepchumba – murderer Louis Otieno.
Careen Chepchumba, a 26-year-old employee of Kenya Power at the time, was found dead in her apartment at Santonia Court in Kilimani, Nairobi.
Careen, a friend of former TV news anchor Louis Otieno, was found dead in her apartment at Kilimani’s Santonia Court, Nairobi, on February 14, 2011.An inquest into her death revealed that she died from strangulation.
Chief government pathologist Dr Johansen Odour on Monday told magistrate Charles Ondieki that an autopsy revealed that Careen bled in the eyes and neck muscles due to pressure applied on her neck by the assailant.
The inquest into her death commenced four years later and the conclusion was that she was murdered but police bungled the investigation, leaving gaps that made it difficult to find the criminal.Magistrate Charles Ondieki ruled that Careen’s death was not an accident.
3. Jacob Juma – murderer Uhuru Kenyatta.
Jacob Juma (died 5 May 2016) was a Kenyan businessman and government critic who was born on November 12th 1971 and assassinated in his car on 5 May 2016 by unknown gunmen. Opposition leader Raila Odinga claims that Juma’s murder was the work of William Ruto.
New revelations emerged indicating that controversial businessman Jacob Juma was killed on the same day he filed an affidavit in a case pitting him against the Kenyan Government.
The slain businessman had reportedly sued the State for Sh2 Trillion at an International Court after the government cancelled his licence to Mrima Hill, an area in Kwale County said to be rich in rare earth minerals.
4.Mercy Keino – murderer Kabogo.
Days after Kiambu Governor William Kabogo was absolved of the murder of Mercy Keino, the University of Nairobi student who was found dead in unclear circumstances after being invited to a party where Kabogo was a guest, her family says they hold the governor “morally responsible” for what happened to their first born child.
Mercy’s father, Joseph Keino and his wife, Christine Keino, said though her death remains a mystery, they believe she would still be alive had she not had a brush with Kabogo.
Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko had ordered a public inquiry to establish how the journalism master’s student was killed on June 17, 2011 after police failed to link suspects to the murder. The inquest was presided over by Magistrate Peter Ndigwa.
5.Prof. Odhiambo Mbai – murderer Norman Nyagah.
Dr Mbai was shot in the head and chest on September 14, 2003 and was rushed to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.The cause of death , according to Dr P.K. Maundu, was gun shot wounds to the head causing bruising and bleeding in the brain.
The prosecution, the judge said, had tried to give a political motive to the death through the evidence of Mrs Mbai and Dr Mbai’s sister, Beatrice.
However, the judge said Mrs Mbai was not present when the shooting took place. She had told the court how she was received by Kamukunji MP Norman Nyagah who broke the news of the shooting to her. She had also told the court how her husband had complained of threats from the then security minister, Dr Chris Murungaru.
Dr Mbai, she had said, was going to seek personal security on Monday but he was killed before he could get a bodyguard.
On returning home from the hospital where she had seen her husband, Mrs Mbai had said she found the house had been cleaned on the instructions of Mr Nyagah and there were no signs of the shooting.
At the time of his death, Dr Mbai was leader of the technical committee on devolution of power at the National Constitutional Conference at Bomas of Kenya.
6.Robert Ouko – murderer Moi & Biwott.
Renowned politician and Kisumu Town Member of Parliament Robert Ouko was found dead at Got Alila, only a few miles from his rural home in Koru, Muhoroni, on February 13, 1990.
The then Minister of Foreign Affairs in retired President Daniel Moi’s government had disappeared from his home the night before, with one of her workers alleging that he was taken away in a white car, before being discovered by villagers the next day.
Forensic evidence conducted by Scotland Yard detectives later indicated that the leader was killed by a shot to the head. His right leg had been broken in two places and his body partially burned.
The evidence further suggested that the shot might have been discharged at the same place, and though the bullet was never found, matches, a torch, and a fuel jerrycan were found near the scene.
According to the lead investigator, Superintendent John Troon, in a Standard publication dated 2016, the evidence pointed at the same government in which the minister served, with the then Interior Permanent Secretary Hezekiah Oyugi topping the list of suspects.
It calls for further investigations into top officials, including one of Mr Moi’s closest allies, Nicholas Biwott.Mr Biwott has denied responsibility.
Several key witnesses have since died in mysterious circumstances and the report calls for their deaths to be investigated.
Mr Ouko was well respected internationally but fell out with Mr Biwott and other key officials.The BBC’s David Ogot in Nairobi says several parliamentary reports into previous alleged injustices have been finally made public recently.
7.Thomas Joseph Mboya (Tom Mboya) – murderer Jomo Kenyatta.
Thomas Joseph Odhiambo Mboya, popularly known as Tom Mboya was assassinated on Saturday, July, 5, 1969 in Nairobi.
On the day of his death, Mboya had just left a pharmacy (Chhani’s Pharmacy) which he frequented, along Nairobi CBD’s Government Road (now Moi Avenue) to buy some drugs and was heading back to his white Mercedes Benz, registration KME 627, when gunshots rang and down went the Minister of Justice.
The killer, a man with a hat and a briefcase, who was later identified as Nahashon Isaac Njenga Njoroge, immediately vanished into a crowd as the 39 year old politician fought but lost his bid to retain his life.
8. George Thuo was murdered by Uhuru Kenyatta.
George Thuo (14 February 1967 – 17 November 2013) was a Kenyan politician. He belonged to the Party of National Unity. In the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election he was elected to the National Assembly of Kenya to represent the Juja Constituency.
He was the Chief Whip of the ruling PNU party in Parliament.In April 2010 he lost the parliamentary seat after a court nullified the 2007 election results of Juja Constituency citing irregularities
A by-election was subsequently held on 20 September 2010, but Thuo was left third after William Kabogo Gitau (NARC-Kenya) and Alice Wambui of Kenya National Congress.
According to several news sources, he collapsed while having drinks with friends.He died on 17 November 2013 at Porkies Pub in Thika town, Kiambu county.
9. George Saitoti was murdered by Uhuru Kenyatta.
The late George Saitoti died on Sunday 10th June, 2012 at 9 a.m. when a police helicopter carrying him and assistant minister for internal security Joshua Orwa Ojode exploded and crashed in the Kibiku area of Ngong forest killing them both. He was 66 years old at the time of his death.
10. General Joseph Nkaissery was murdered by Uhuru Kenyatta.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery complained of sharp chest pains moments before he collapsed and was later pronounced dead after being rushed to Karen Hospital, a few kilometres away in thr early Saturday morning of JULY 8th 2017.
Later on,the government issued another statement, this time signed by Government Spokesman Eric Kiraithe, clarifying that Maj-Gen (rtd) Nkaissery had not been admitted to the hospital.He was 67 years old.
11. George Muchai was murdered by Francis Atwoli.
George Muchai(1955/6 – 7 February 2015) was a Kenyan politician and trade unionist.He served as a member of the National Assembly for Kabete Constituency since the 2013 elections. He was a member of the Jubilee Alliance.In October 2011 Muchai survived an attempt on his life.
On 7 February 2015 Muchai was returning from a family dinner when his car was rammed in Nairobi. Several armed persons emerged from the other car and Muchai was shot and killed together with his two bodyguards and driver.A briefcase and two pistols of the bodyguards were stolen.One suspect of the murder was arrested on 11 February.
12. Gitau Njuguna was murdered by Uhuru Kenyatta.
Njuguna Gitau,the then Mungiki spokesman, was shot dead by unidentified people in Nairobi on November 5, 2009.
Detectives investigating the murder of outlawed Mungiki sect spokesman David Gitau Njuguna say he could have been killed by gunmen who knew him.The detectives said they had established a lodging where Njuguna and the three suspected assailants had been before an argument broke out.
Njuguna was shot twice at close range along Nairobi’s Luthuli Avenue on Thursday evening by gunmen who escaped without taking anything from him.Apart from acting as the spokesman of the political wing of Mungiki, Njuguna was traditional and gospel musician.
13. Oscar Kamau King’ara was murdered by Uhuru Kenyatta.
Oscar Kamau Kingara was a Kenyan lawyer and human rights activist. Kingara was the founder and director of the Oscar Foundation Free Legal Aid Clinic, a human rights organization based in Nairobi. His 2009 assassination is widely attributed to his work in documenting police killings.
Oscar Kamau Kingara, the director of the Oscar Foundation, and its programme coordinator, John Paul Oulo, were shot at close range in their car by gunmen less than a mile from the presidential residence around the University of Nairobi.
Only a few hours earlier the government had publicly accused their organisation, which runs free legal aid clinics for the poor, of being a front for a criminal gang.
A coalition of civil society organisations released a statement blaming police for the murders.
14. John Paul Oulu was murdered by Uhuru Kenyatta.
George Paul Oulu also known as Oulu GPO was a Kenyan human rights activist and A former Vice Chairman of the Students Organization of Nairobi University;the representative student body at the University of Nairobi. His 2009 assassination is widely attributed to his work in documenting police killings.
On Thursday afternoon, Oscar Kamau Kingara, director of the Kenyan based Oscar legal aid Foundation, and its programme coordinator, John Paul Oulo, were both shot dead at close range in their car less than a mile from President Kibaki’s residence. The two were on their way to a meeting at the Kenyan National Commission on Human Rights.
Both had been investigating extra-judicial assassinations by the Kenyan Police. Part of their work forms the basis of the “Cry of Blood” report Wikileaks released on November 1 last year and subsequent follow ups, including a UN indictment last month.
Since 2007 the Oscar foundation has documented 6,452 “enforced disappearances” by police and 1,721 extra-judicial killings.
The murders come just two weeks after United Nations Special Rapporteur on extra-judicial killings Professor Philip Alston called on on Kenya’s Attorney General and Police Commissioner to be sacked.
15. Oyugi Ogango was murdered by Daniel Moi.
16. Father Kaiser was murdered by Daniel Moi.
Father Kaiser was 67 years old when he died that early morning of August 24, 2000. US-born missionary Father John Kaiser – an outspoken critic of the government of President Daniel arap Moi – was found in a ditch with a gunshot wound to the back of his head, and some believe the Church has failed to take a stand in the search for justice
17. Alexander Muge was murdered by Daniel Moi and Okondo.
The late Bishop Alexander Kipsang Muge, an Anglican Church of Kenya cleric, is believed to have lost his life in a tragic road accident in 1990.
Bishop Muge,a leading critic of Moi Government, was killed when a milk truck crashed into his car as he was returning home from visiting Busia. Three days before Bishop Muge’s death, Mr. Okondo had said at a rally that ..Three days before Bishop Muge’s death, Mr. Okondo had said at a rally that the bishop ”might not leave alive” if he visited Mr. Okondo’s constituency, Busia, in western Kenya.
18 .Kungu Karumba was murdered by Jomo Kenyatta.
Kungu Karumba, one of the Kapenguria Six, who had gone to Uganda on business went missing on June 14, 1974, and is said to have been killed by Amin’s men.
Karumba, who was born in Tigoni, Limuru was declared dead on the expiry of the mandatory seven years after which a missing person is legally proclaimed dead.
Throughout 1974 Uganda tribesmen with the support of the Amin’s regime continued to harass Kenyans along the common border. Five Kenyans lost their lives.Further reports showed how Karumba’s pursuit of debtor in Uganda led to his death.
19. J.M. Kariuki was murdered by Jomo Kenyatta.
Popular Kenyan politician Josiah Mwangi Kariuki is widely believed to have been assassinated by agents of the regime of Kenya’s first president Jomo Kenyatta, whose son, Uhuru, is now head of state. JM was a sharp critic of Kenyatta’s corrupt ethnic state. The truth about his murder – like several other political assassinations in Kenya – has never been fully known. Kariuki was assassinated on 2 March 1975.
He was last seen alive at the Hilton Hotel, Nairobi, accompanied by senior police officers on that Sunday.His disappearance was investigated by a parliamentary select committee whose mandate was to investigate the disappearance and subsequent death of J.M. They gave recommendations which were never implemented.
20. Pio Pinto Gama was murdered by Jomo Kenyatta.
Pinto, a Kenyan of Goan extraction, was shot dead at the gate to his house in Nairobi’s affluent Westlands suburb on the morning of February 24, 1965.
Pio Gama Pinto was a Kenyan journalist, politician and freedom fighter. He was a socialist leader who dedicated his life to the liberation of the Kenyan people and became independent Kenya’s first martyr in 1965.
21. CMG Argwings Kodhek was murdered by Jomo Kenyatta.
On Tuesday of January 29, 1969, Kenya’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and East Africa’s first black lawyer C.M.G ArgwingsClement Michael George Argwings Kodhek’s car rolled on the Nairobi road that is now named after him. He was rushed to Nairobi Hospital where he died hours later.
The learned, intelligent, witty and confrontational CMG Argwings-Kodhek was Kenya’s first to open a law practice. His famous initials, CMG, stood for Clement Michael George Argwings-Kodhek or ‘Chiedo Mor Gem’ Luo for ‘The Frying Oil of Gem.’ The MP for Gem and Assistant Minister for Internal Security and Defense died in a suspicious accident along the road named after him in Hurligham, Nairobi on January 29, 1969. He was 46.
