“We as leaders from the Rift valley region who support Deputy President William Ruto 100%, I want to say we have our plans in place. The day for unleashing our plan is coming.

“People should not imagine that we are asleep. 2012 when were seeking to form the Jubilee government, we were not in government. We belonged to the opposition with a pending case at the Hague but God opened ways.

“The seat that Uhuru and Ruto seats on is what God gave us and He went ahead and finished the Hague case. I want to tell those who think that we have loosehead should know that the God of 2012 who opened ways for us is the same God who will see us in 2022,” said Sudi.

The remarks by the MP comes in the wake of a series of woes facing the Tanga Tanga political faction that is allied to DP Ruto.

Newspapers headlines on Friday indicated that plans were underway to kick out Ruto-allied MPs and Senators from plum positions in the Senate and National Assemblies.

In a newspaper reporting by The Star indicated that the Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen was set to be replaced by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.

However, according to Murkomen, it is impossible for Senator Moi to replace him since he is not a member of Jubilee Party which constitute the majority in the Senate.

The developments come days after President Uhuru sacked Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri who had publicly endorsed DP Ruto for Presidency come to 2022 General Elections.

The move sparked uproar among the Tanga Tanga members who said the move by the President was a clear indicator that he was taming Ruto’s supporters from the government.

The recent changes by the President on his cabinet apparently brought to the fore the rumoured tension between him and his Deputy.

Failure by DP Ruto to comment on the changes was, according to political pundits, a clear indicator that he was not – appeased by the changes.
