Outspoken Member of Parliament for Emurua Dikirr constituency Johana Ngeno has lashed back at the president in what seems to be new attacks.
Ngeno who was recently arrested and charged for insulting President Kenyatta’s family has attacked Uhuru for allegedly dodging the chief justice David Maraga’s advisory concerning the gender rule.
Ngeno on Sunday, September 27, 2020 asked the president to obey the Chief Justice’s advisory and immediately dissolve the President. He further questioned the Presidents motive for not acting immediately after the CJ Statement.
He further stated the president is yet to dissolve the parliament due to his close links with Raila and BBI. According to the Lawmaker, if the parliament is dissolved, BBI will suffer a natural death.
He further reminded the President that according to law and the constitution, he has no other option apart from dissolving the parliament.
“What are the consequences that we can anticipate when the President of Kenya fails to dissolve Parliament? In my opinion, the President has no option, he has to dissolve Parliament, the reason as to why he is not dissolving is because of BBI, they know if they dissolve Parliament, BBI will die a natural death. This BBI will die with or without dissolving parliament,” Ngeno said.
