Confusion as DP Ruto is Suspended as Jubilee’s Deputy party Leader, blocked from accessing party headquarters

Jubilee Party Secretarty General Raphael Tuju has criticised Deputy President William Ruto’s congregation with MPs on Thursday, October 1, 2020.

Tuju, during a press conference on Friday, October 2, stated that DP Ruto was banned from using the party headquarters to operationalise his 2022 campaign.

The Jubilee Secretary General stated that DP Ruto’s visit to the party’s office almost caused a confrontation with MPs from the Rival Kieleweke faction.

Tuju stated that the party had recommended that Ruto be suspended as the Deputy Party Leader by the National Management Committee.

Tuju was speaking on Friday at the party’s headquarters, where he stated that the DP has been barred from accessing the main office. The Party recommended that Ruto should cease from being the Party’s deputy leader.

“Yesterday, the DP turned up at the party Headquaters with more than 30 MPs, many of them known abusers of the President foul-mouthed MPs that are on record attacking gov’t projects like Huduma Namba. That move almost created an ugly confrontation,” Tuju stated in a press conference on Friday.

The CS without portfolio accused the DP for snubbing the Covid-19 national conference at KICC.

“DP William Ruto’s seat remained conspicuously absent during the COVID-19 conference where he was included in the program… For such travesty, the only thing we have received from the DP’s camp are tweets from his allies,” Tuju stated.

Earlier today, Kericho County Senator
hon Aaron Cheruiyot declared his stance against the ongoing Conspiracy talks among Kenyans and a section of leaders with claims that William Ruto is trying to stage a Coup at the Jubilee Party headquarters.

Yesterday, Ruto’s visit to the head Office of Jubilee Party made headlines, drawing different views from Kenyans of all classes in reference to the relationship between the President and his deputy for a couple of Months now.

Uhuru Kenyatta seems to be falling out politically from his deputy William Ruto, and they also seem to be drawing battle lines and exercising cold war against each other.

Speaking through his twitter handle, the Senator claimed that Jubilee is a political Party for all and the thoughts that the Party leader is more powerful is just not positive thinking. He went on to claim that that the Members of the Political Party are on the process to direct the political Party to where they feel it is good for them, adding that we should wait for the next few days to see what will happen.

“Jubilee is a political Party and not some religious Cult. As such the thinking that its leader is Supreme is not only superfluous but hollow to the core. Members of the Party are at liberty to direct the Party to the Course they deem it fit. Watch out for the next few days. “The Legislator wrote.
