Renowned US-based Kenyan preacher and motivational speaker Dr. Jacob Kinyanjui Ng’ang’a has once again lashed out at Deputy President and ODM leader Raila Odinga. The outspoken trainer Monday said both Raila and Ruto are not fit to be Kenya’s President.
His statement comes two days when he urged Deputy President William Ruto to slow down on his presidential ambition. Kinyanjui, who is also an author and motivational speaker, further told Ruto that “the race to State House is not a life and death affair.”
Pastor Jacob Kinyanjui wrote a long post on his Facebook page detailing why Both Raila and Ruto are he burden the country is bedeviling with.
“Kenya’s primary problem is corruption. Why do you think Raila and Ruto have more money than you and all your close relatives combined? How can you trust a thief to manage your money? Does the surname of the thief matter? Has the life of the average citizen of central Kenya improved because Uhuru has been ruling since 2013? Haven’t we lost most of the gains we made under Kibaki?” he questioned.
He accused the two prominent 2022 presidential candidates of absconding their duties thus giving president Uhuru Kenyatt free atmosphere to run public coffers dry through run-away corruption.
“Matters public resources, Raila or Ruto’s presidency will be a repeat of the Uhuru government. That’s why the former is enjoying this second term and the latter milked during Uhuru’s first-term. Most national headlines since 2013 have been about stolen public money. None of the two can now tell Uhuru to resign. Let’s stop getting emotional like fools when someone calls us to change the narrative.” he reiterated.
Kinyanjui also took a swipe at African leaders who have continued to impoverish their citizens but when questioned, they mobilized their communities and supporters as a shield to protect their Stolen wealth.
“Who has bewitched Africa? Someone can be a liberator and still impoverish their country. Robert Mugabe ruined the economy of Zimbabwe. Jacob Zuma was jailed by the apartheid government for ten years yet he messed up South Africa. Most Ugandans are in abject poverty under the leadership of Yoweri Museveni since 1986. At the meantime, a few beneficiaries will shed blood for him.” he stated
Balancing the political situation in Mt. Kenya region, Dr. Kinyanjui accused the electorates of electing bad leaders to take care of their resources. He compared political contest in kirinyaga County between Narc Kenya Leader Martha Karua and incumbent governor Anne Waiguru. Also he wondered why Nairobians voted Evans Kidero as their governor despite massively being implicated in Mumias Sugar Company Multi-Billion Scandal.
“For how long shall we gamble with our lives? Martha Karua offered her candidature in Kirinyaga. Kirinyaga people voted for Ann Waiguru immediately after her NYS scandal. Jim Mbaru offered himself to serve Nairobi County in 2013. We voted Evans Kidero after his Mumias Scandal.” he lamented.
He went further to fault the election of both EX-Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu and Uasin Gishu Women Representative Gladys Boss Shollei.
“…Kiambu people had the audacity to elect Ferdinand Waititu. Gladys Shollei presents the women of Uasin Gishu even though the Court of Appeal maintained that her dismissal from the Judiciary was lawful. The list is endless.” he said.
Kinyanjui further proposed for kenyans the ideal candidates who are capable of leading the country.
‘Why can’t we have a different conversation and discuss possibilities of Kenneth Marende, Kalonzo Musyoka, Prof. Kibutha Kibwana or we go beyond the political arena to the likes of the CBK governor Patrick Njoroge? Even if you disagree with my views, let’s not discourage the dialogue.” he said.
Both Kalonzo and Kibwana have already declared their interests to run for president in 2022.
Prof Kibwana, Dr Kituyi and Muturi have all declared their bids to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The team is in touch with Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya, former Agriculture minister Kipruto arap Kirwa, a prominent bishop from Nyanza, among others.
“We are in touch with a number of leaders who share in the same ideology of moderate leaders, non-confrontational and not tainted with corruption. I cannot say who now but we are in talks,” said Naituli.
