1 Winston Churchill

Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, widely known as Winston Churchill, hailed from the aristocratic family of the Dukes of Marlborough. He had never been to college, but his lack of a graduation degree could not deter him from becoming the Prime Minister of Great Britain. He also played a significant role in WWII by leading Britain away from the brink of defeat.

2. Jayalalithaa

The former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu entered into films after completing her matriculation. She became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in June 1991. Tamil Nadu’s ‘Amma’ passed away on December 5.

3. George Washington

He is the first President of the United States of America but did not complete his school education due to his father’s death.

4. Jacob Zuma

Zuma, who never went to school became the President of South Africa in 2009. He was also the Deputy President of South Africa from 1999 to 2005.

According to some reports, the actress-turned-politician secured a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce but there is no evidence of her higher education qualification.
The former HRD minister, who was in a huge controversy during her tenure, currently holds the position of Minister of Textiles.

6. Abraham Lincoln

He has no formal education but became a successful President of America who guided the nation at her darkest phase. He is also a successful attorney.

7. Frederick Douglass

From a slave to becoming the voice of the African-American community, the man with no formal education became the most influential African American of the nineteenth century.

8. Karunanidhi

The class 10-pass student, Karunanidhi is the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and is the screenplay writer of many Tamil films.

9. Omar al-Bashir

He never stepped into college but became the President of Sudan in 1989 when he was a brigadier in the Sudanese Army.

10. Abdelaziz Bouteflika

The President of Algeria studied in many schools but did not complete his formal education. He holds the post of President since 1999.
