REVEALED:Why DP Ruto Was Locked Out of Uhuru-Raila Meeting During BBI Report Launch

Woes for Deputy President William Ruto seemed to have deepened after the happenings during the launch of the BBI report by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga at the Bomas of Kenya.

Ruto on the occasion looked a troubled man way before the ceremony that attracted approximately 747 people, commenced.

Not even the drama that ensued at the entrance of the auditorium to the building prior to the function, could match up to what was to unfold within the confines of the venue chosen.

Details have emerged that the DP was deliberately locked out of a meeting by Uhuru and Raila minutes to the start of the function in what was termed as a final talk between the two leaders.

Ruto being snubbed for the few minutes during the closed-door forum, set motion to the saga that would unfold later on.

Additional information insinuated that the rift between Ruto and President Uhuru was the reason to why he was segregated during the confab.

The fact that the two no longer read from the same script, was witnessed by the flurry of moments that left the second in command a disturbed man.

It was further proclaimed that the recently concluded Kibra by-election could be the reason for the deteriorating relationship between the two Jubilee leaders.

Ruto in recent weeks, called out the ODM party and Raila to come out and abandon violence.

“They must renounce violence. These people must say no to chaos. They must refuse mayhem,” remarked the Deputy President.

He added that,” They must refuse mayhem because unless and until ODM renounces violence, It can’t be a political party.”

The DP’s sentiments were however quashed with Uhuru who stated that violence was among the leaders and not the people of Kibra.

“Democracy prevailed in Kibra. I admit there were slight cases of violence but that was between leaders who were throwing stones at each other. These ones can afford to go to Nairobi Hospital,” commented the Head of State.

To add insult to injury, Deputy President Ruto was left angered after the son of the late mzee Jomo Kenyatta laughed heartily at a joke made by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed.

Junet took a dig at Jubilee over their constant internal wrangles and Uhuru was captured laughing while looking at Ruto.

The scenes witnessed at the launch of the findings of the brainchild of the handshake leave many to wonder, has the Uhuruto pact been completely severed?
